A BRIEF HISTORY OF PROGRESSIVE FIBERGLASS
 
The two founding partners of Progressive Fiberglass had been in the construction business together in Louisville, Kentucky, for three years when, in 2001, they first heard about fiberglass windows. After hearing about the superior strength, durability and energy efficiency of fiberglass windows compared to windows and sliding glass doors framed with other commonly used materials (vinyl, aluminum and wood), the partners were convinced that they had stumbled upon something that was worth investigating.

Within 30 days the men were on a flight to Canada, where the only sources for fiberglass framing materials (lineals) existed. Their purpose was to learn more about fiberglass window and door products and how they are made. Needless to say, they were impressed with what they found.

After returning from Canada, the pair began putting together business plans and successfully launched Progressive Fiberglass Windows and Doors. After experimenting with manufacturing methods first hand, using imported fiberglass lineals, the partners determined that importing made-to-order, quality fiberglass windows from a reputable manufacturer in Canada was the most efficient way to deliver the best products to their growing customer base.
Today, Progressive Fiberglass can provide a wide variety of fiberglass window styles from their Louisville distribution center.
